In all honesty, I really hope they do have a car horn fetish. Car rides in major cities must be orgasmic.

? What major cities have constant honking? Is that actually a thing? Or just an American thing.

Before I answer what country your from? I'm from the Chicago region.

Your northerly neighbor. I’ve been to a few US cities as well.

All the tropes I’ve seen are about a few American cities, usually not portrayed in other countries.

its pretty common is highly dense cities, Chicago, NY and LA. I wouldn't be surprised if Toronto has it in certain areas. But i can't say for sure since ive never been and you northern neighbors are much more pleasant than a lot of US folks haha

I've been to Toronto numerous times and have never heard a single honk. Even when our hotel is directly next to the perpetually-clogged Highway 401. People are so used to traffic jams in Toronto that they know honking won't make it move any faster.

What a crazy concept! I hear a beep like five or six days I have to drive somewhere in the city closest to me. It’s a fairly large city.

I hear a beep every zero evers around where I live. Maybe five or six times in the twenty years I’ve been here.

I can’t imagine hearing a car horn often like that! Maybe I’d get used to it?

Maybe I’d get used to it?

"How often does the train go by?" - "So often you won't even notice it."

Do people in the US not realize that honking accomplishes nothing? Were used to the traffic, why honk?

[–] datavoid@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Back when I was living in downtown Calgary the honking was incessant, due to a handful of different protests (Palestinians really work the horn)

[–] plantfanatic@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 weeks ago

I can see for protests as that’s all you can really do is make noise, but DT Calgary is otherwise normally quiet. I live there myself.

i have a similar bumper sticker from an extra fabulous comics kickstarter. iirc it says “please don’t honk, i have a goose fetish and i will crash into you killing us both”

Bro should not come to the EU. I drive the speed limit and have never been honked at.

There is no such thing as a clown fetish and I refuse to believe otherwise.

[–] felykiosa@sh.itjust.works 13 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Well.... Yeah wtf is this... Clown fetish... How absurd is this... Would be wild if this existed...hopefully no one have it....

[–] Funkt4st1c@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

That clown is conventionally attractive

[–] rethnor@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago

You know what's weirder than seeing this in the wild? Knowing that some one created it.

Is that a Camaro?
