A few hours of awkward committee testimony won't restore those jobs or really change anything for the better.

This is outrage theatre.

The layoffs drew a sharp rebuke by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who said he was "furious" and called the move a "garbage decision by a corporation that should know better."

Perhaps there's hope that the neoliberal brainwashing is going to wear out at some point.

Perhaps they need to focus on making the national public broadcaster as good as possible instead of relying on corporations owned by the banks.
