The AI bubble burst is gonna rival dotcom.

I wouldn't be so sure about it. There is a famous quote from Thomas Watson:

"I think there is a world market for maybe five computers"

AI is overhyped but has so many applications, it won't go away any time soon.

Yeah, like the dotcom bubble. The internet is used more than ever today but there was still a massive crash near the beginning. I predict a lot of AI startups are gonna pop up and disappear quickly over the next few years. A lot of investor money is going to disappear and dozens of projects will go nowhere because they were sold on a buzzword.

And come on, do you really want AI in MS fucking Paint?

So far, the biggest applications I've seen it used for are cheating in school and porn. Wake me up when we're solving equations for FTL travel or curing cancers or some shit. Right now, the way people are using it is boring and disappointing.

... , hope my fellow pc users on the windows side survive the AI'ification process that microsoft seems to be doing at the moment.

Gonna need the AMD Xdna FPGA for that to be sane at all. Interesting.
