Not the point of this article, but the last sentence stuck out to me:

But new figures released in December 2023 showed that, during Eyreโ€™s tenure, the number of reported sexual assaults doubled in a one-year period.

They phrase that as a bad thing, isn't that a good thing? It probably means Members actually think it's worth reporting.

I'm in my 40ies and have heard about sexual abuse in the army since I was old enough to understand what's said on the news. Unfortunately there is nothing surprising here.

The name "Officer X" honestly should have been the first red flag.
