Humans only "mark their territory" in the bathroom.. well, I hope so anyway

Good point. It does read like a liability disclaimer.

I've noticed that Google doesn't always get the speed limit correct on more rural roads.

Or it can't tell if a temporary, lowered speed sign has been posted in a construction zone, for example.

This.

Additionally, there are lazy people in every company/industry. Many of whom earn more than the average person. Oftentimes, life just isn't fair.

This was great, thanks!

Can I pay to point the sun at someone who is making my life miserable? Preventing them from getting a good night's sleep will surely make things better, right?

Ask them about their investment strategies. If they put all your money on mutual funds, ETFs, etc (i.e. managed accounts that you can choose yourself in a self-directed account) then run.

Advisors often get a kick-back for getting their clients to invest in managed accounts where they have a relationship with the fund managers. AND you pay the fund management fees to the fund company on top of whatever your advisor charges you for their own fees.

First 30 mins is just digging holes to spend the nights in until you find some sheep.

I figured this was how he "survived on $1/day".

The longest friend I've ever had is someone I met in school that lives on the other side of the continent... I haven't seen them in maybe half a lifetime now.

Buy we send each other funny stuff and random updates. I don't know why it has lasted, other than that there are low expectations and it's mutual. It's actually really refreshing.

I met a few good friends by joining a local, free run club in the area. We were all the slow people at the back 😂

I moved and the friendships didn't last, but I think that's just part of life. The older I get, the more stars need to align to maintain relationships.

I met my best friend while we were both volunteering to help kids with some stuff we're both really good at.

We're both nerdy about the same things. I made a few friends from that activity but only one has stood the test of time 🥹
