lemmy has a lot of potential, I didnt like the userbases of others, lemmy is also easy to use and hasn't had any bugs for me, only confusion was choice paralayis, initially went with lemmyworld too and almost uninstalled because of no piracy, found out the rest dont block it

they should really only suggest lemmee or shitjustworks, not a fan of any that block stuff like piracy

it makes stuff super lowres rnow which isn't great for viewing, it definitely needs some quality of life features but it seems to have a good core

I dont understand how to join or post on peertube, its the most confusing, do you host your own, is there a feed of all the servers?

Issue is bluesky is where they're going but from what I've read a bridge could be made? Still very new to this, not sure how that would work.

I would not take that bet lol, i guarantee they are tweaking over this and scared about how this effects shareholders, they should be more worried about all the sus nsfw stuff right next to ads for "wholesome" companies

but lemmys great because the ppl that really fit a specific type congregate in certain servers and then you can just block the whole server, at least thats what I've been told, I'm still fairly new
