Both the PRX and this are heavily inspired by the AP Royal Oak. The Christopher Ward website even has an article that states that Gerard Genta was the greatest watch designer who ever lived (designer of the Royal Oak and the Nautilus). That said, I love both the PRX and the Twelve so they’re definitely on to something.

Great looking watch, CW is killing it with their designs.

These are all very different watches. If you’re looking for a GADA watch, the SMP would get my vote. If you want a chrono, you could go with the top time, but I think the classic avi is better looking (and cheaper). You can also get a speedy for $8k, which would get my chrono pick, though I might also be a bit partial there. The Santos is a beautiful watch, but IMO less versatile than the others, that said it would be the easiest to dress up of the bunch that’s here.

I would grab a NOMOS Ludwig as it has amazing use of white space on the face and can be worn with nice clothing. If I was rich, I would grab an A. Lange & Sohne for the same reason. I definitely would not buy another dive watch though.

Haha yes, we eloped at the beginning of this year and bought cheap wedding rings on short notice. We were at the Cartier store buying new rings right before going to Omega.

I went to the mall to buy a Tissot PRX today and stopped at the Omega store on the way to Bloomingdale’s. I fell in love with the Speedmaster Professional and had to have it. I was on the fence about spending the money, but my wife talked me into it and I’m really happy with the purchase.
