Xournal uses GTK - so that not working nicely would be a bummer.

I didn't know about Steam Deck using plasma - nice!

there is also Plasma Mobile (I have no experience with either of those).

I was originally thinking more in the direction of classical desktops in the tablet/2-in1 format.

What are your latest DE experiences with Touch- and/or 2in1-devices? I heard some prefer Gnome for their gesture support and modern layout. Others prefer the highly customizable KDE Plasma. Sometimes with custom installed virtual keyboard. However most discussions where kinda dated. Referring to Plasma 5 or older etc.

So I am asking the Fediversians for their experiences and setups! 🐧

Why is this not linked in the sidebar?

edit: No matter what one thinks about the privacy aspects of Signal: If its an official discussion group of this community it should be in the sidebar - just like the Discord group. I therefore assume it's unofficial or maybe not even related to this comunity?

I like to imagine it as a fake Android CalDAV Client that doesn't subscribe to a CalDav Server, but instead to a directory that you define. The UI is also based on DAVx^5^. It doesn't store iCal-files, but Fossify Calendar allows export of events in iCal.

You can use DecSync!

synchronizes RSS, contacts, calendars, tasks and more without requiring a server

It is quiet easy to set up for Android with DecSync CC

With any Calendar App you like. I enjoy Fossify Calendar.

For PC you can install DecSync-Plugin for Radicale. And then import your Calender's to any CalDav compatible program.

Codium or VScode and Signal are not available as Browser Apps afaik. And for Spotify - I rarely use that - but when I do it's nice to have the songs downloaded wich only exists in the Proton APP Version.

With only Codium, Firefox, Spotify and Signal I get close to 16GB :(

Did you had any troubles with the hardware? Did the touchscreen work out of the box and which OS?

We need taxes for all - also the super-rich.

"Tax the rich" is an official EU petition. The EU Parliament has to deal with it when successful.

7 EU countries must reach the quorum. And in total 1M Votes are needed. Check yours in the chart and share, cross post etc.!

The petition calls for the introduction of a wealth tax on very large fortunes. Sign the petition here

Silence - a Signal fork is actually still quiet decent. Simple and support for encrypted SMS. Which is a fun feature.
