Usually I’m all about games like this but for whatever reason it just looks uninspired. Maybe it’s all a little too goofy and bright and clean.

Isn’t this still true of Reddit though? You could just make a new subreddit if you don’t like another.
How is it different?
Not everyone adopts to change the same way. A slow migration to lemm.ee is what is needed.
If the focus is on making these communities strong, and Reddit continues to shut down dissent, the people will come.
