The encyclopedia even came on CD for a while. It was called Encarta. But I loved my parent's World Book Encyclopedia much more.

I'm from the prairies and I would hear gallon used instead of 5 litres, and pint isn't used much at all. That's mostly my parent's generation that would use these terms. I'd just use litres and probably 2 cups instead of pint.
