I like to think people are just angry at Tuchel rather than actually wanting to replace him with Xabi.
There is 0 guarantee that Xabi would do anything better than Tuchel. The Bayern coaching job is an entirely different one to Leverkusen's and Xabi just fits well there even with little experience with the way the Leverkusen team is built.
