I played it back on the PS4. My memory is that I enjoyed the vast majority of it, and was pretty completionist on that one. Mostly because the world and environments are hauntingly beautiful. I enjoyed riding slowly through the world, almost never using travel, and exploring the nooks and crannies. If that's your bag I think you might like it. But The story does go through some contortions to fill out the play time.

When we switch to DST, we "Fall Back. ". We set the clocks one hour back, at 2:00am Sunday, so basically we get an extra hour of sleep just on that night. Then we lose one when we set the clocks forward in the spring.

To be fair, I don't think that extra hour, once in the Fall, is used as a reason for Daylight Savings in any debates.

A "major" hasn't hit Tampa in over 100 years. (Major being 3 or higher.) Since landfall was Sarasota, I don't know if this counts to break the streak, but it's definitely the worst wind and rain in decades for Tampa and St. Pete. I'm very glad the storm surge didn't also set records

FWIW, a 20% drop is borderline catastrophic for a major company. The squeeze it puts on their supply chain, ability to make payroll, and interest rates on borrowing going up, it could be enough to create a death spiral. I think ubisoft is probably managed well enough to deal with this, but this is definitely a serious situation for them.

It's only visible from the back, but more bikes are coming equipped with brake lights that strobe for a second when activated to get more attention. (We only have one rear brake light, compared to three on cars). And now it's easy to find add-on helmet lights that also activate with the brakes. Not the all-rounder lighting you're talking about, but early info seems promising.

Look at it this way, Google stopped caring about their viewers as anything more than wallets to empty years ago. Now they're going through the same cycle with advertisers. They don't care if the ads land, or the targeting works, just that they can convince them to keep buying ad space.

Eventually the ROI will show as not worth it to the advertisers, but by then Pichai and the rest of the C-suite will be pulling the same scam at another company whose investors are more greedy and stupid than saavy.

Because the horrible truth of America now, is that CEOs and their ilk have stopped caring about creating value, or building a sustainable business model with long term revenue. Now they just look at witless investors as wallets to be emptied too.

FWIW, I didn't read anything in BM's post that made me think he was arguing the incident was fake. I interpreted that (s)he was saying it probably was other debris or shrapnel, and he's insisting it was an actual slug to look like a tough guy.
