Do these still require a Facebook login? I’ve wanted to get a VR headset for a while but am waiting on a device that isn’t too expensive and doesn’t require Facebook.

I noticed that my brain is automatically doing the translation now from X -> Twitter. I would however prefer that we continue referring to it as Twitter
Forcing folk back into the office is pretty darn unpopular. If I was part of the group required to return to the office I would also be pretty damn unproductive and pissed as well.
Maybe if the cops hadn’t spent the past decades eroding public trust something like this wouldn’t happen. There could have been a valid and good reason for the person to be arrested but at this point everyone assumes the cops are in the wrong as the cops are never held accountable for being wrong.

I’m bracing for an influx of in-flight tantrums.
I laughed and then realized that is not out of the realm of possibility.
I know from a friend that works for GCP that they are up his ass to get back into the office and have been for a while. Not sure on Azure but I think you’re right that it’s probably going to be small cap places.

With my job I used to have to fly out and meet business teams every few weeks at their office. Now our business partners have staff working remotely so I no longer have to fly out to their offices as their staff aren’t there. That means we do everything via Zoom and meet more often and engage more directly than previously. It also means that I and my team no longer fly on an airline every few weeks. Everyone wins in this new paradigm except those that focus on business air travel.
