Arent Orions already a warp capable species?
AuroraBorealis
I use Emby (jellyfin is a fork of Emby right) and I think it's just a limitation of how it's written where you can't customize the regex that it uses to identify the show. I had this happen for Naruto Shippuden where it thinks they are the movies rather than the show, because anime has problems with how it defines seasons , I don't think there is a way to fix it other than a code change at the source , and manually changing the metadata yourself in the meantime
The whole theme of the show is the battle of the ideals which work great in the alpha quadrant vs the reality of their situation
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that!
I remember trying to get wireless working and having ndiswrapper wrap the windows drivers and having it fail epically
I think it just had issues yesterday, I was using it to watch episodes of CSI asy background noise show and last night it had no "episodes list" despite me being able to play the next episode
Except to use that analogy, all those star wars spinoffs gave us quite possibly the best piece of star wars media out there (Andor)
I like how one of the background characters in the party room was wearing the stupid headset everyone got addicted to in TNG

Also at 13:27 when Boimler is putting the canisters away I swear they are using the same sound effect as "half life 2 crowbar hitting metal.wav"
T'Lyn's delivery with her lines is also fantastic
At the same time, I think they tried to pick a plot point that was relevant today, while at the same time conveniently setting up a new bad guy since the Kaylon were "removed" as a threat. I also don't see it as the most implausible situation, since both Orville (and star trek) can basically change your gender at will, it's not the most absurd situation that a culture is so macho that they have been genetically altering all children at birth to make it 100% male
Man it wasn't even an arc, they didn't mention the gorn at all this season except for this episode right?
Wikipedia says that star trek prodigy has text of the actual prime directive and the closest is "not interfering with social development" and this might interfere with it? But they did mention diplomatic relations with the tendi family
