Even if Ben was always 100% healthy they could have never won with him. You can’t win when every time your pg brings the ball up his man is standing under the basket.

He didn’t do it here, but there were a couple plays last night in crunch time, and plays I notice with embiid all the time, where he’ll get the ball open on the free throw line, where he’s money from, but look unsure of what to do and then pump fake no one so then the defender has time to get on top of him and he either has to shoot a fadeaway or pass out.

That and he’s still a turnover machine when he gets swarmed down low and panics. I think he needs to fix this more than anything to be a dominant playoff performer.

Yeah last year it seemed like so many possessions ended up with the ball in smarts hands on the perimeter with only a few seconds on the shot clock.

That’s a good point though, they need to revamp the offense (not necessarily the roster) so that Tatum is the guy and everyone else plays off him. If someone is hot fine but outside of that. They’re never going to win without Tatum being that guy and if he can’t reach that level of best player on a championship team they were never gonna win anyway.

I wish coaches had the balls to bench guys for shit like this regardless of what they’re making. Not for a whole game or in crunch time or anything but just for like 2 mins at the start of the next game to send a statement that that bullshit isn’t gonna fly no matter how much you make.

The bucks series was hard to watch. They had Giannis figured out, he put up box score stats but on terrible efficiency, it never should have gone to seven games, they would just turn into morons on offense in crunch time so many times.

Why would they call it here though?

It gave melo one of the two seasons of real pg play he had in his prime and he led them to the WCF and took the kobe lakers to six. The nuggets were the second best team in the league that year IMO, especially how melo was balling out in the playoffs, and they took more games off of and played the lakers much harder than the magic did in the finals.

So I was cool with it

Ferrets aren’t sugar gliders lol they would definitely hold their own against a cat

There actually are like hundreds of studies that show having a decent amount of muscle is healthier and better for injury protection than being super skinny

Dallas has Luka and kyrie and that’s basically it. Their defense is gonna be horrendous and their front court is abysmal. And Luka is a great player but he’s definitely gotten a bit over rated. He’s pretty much always considered top 4 in the league and people act like he’s better than prime harden as a pg.That can’t be the case if you can’t even get your team into the play ins, any top 4 player should be able to do that on any roster, and prime harden was dragging some terrible rockets teams to high seeds every year. Kyrie is not a consistent playoff scorer and he doesn’t provide much else. I just don’t see how they could beat the wolves who have probably still the most impactful defensive player in the league, are going to have KAT back, have ant looking like a budding superstar, and have a ton of really solid role players everywhere else. The only way I see them doing well is if Luka makes the leap to like 2019 harden level where he had arguably the best offensive season this millennium with “worst contract in the league” Chris Paul who could barely move as his second option and was basically the only guy who could reliably create a shot or even dribble the ball on the team and he still dragged them to 50+ wins and took two games off the kd warriors while averaging 35 and clearly outplaying Steph. And I just don’t think he’s that level of player yet. Like prime harden teams pretty much never even lost in the first round in a super stacked west and he had some pretty terrible supporting casts, you’re not that level of player if you can’t even get your team into the play ins.

Even healthy Zion had the Pelicans as the first seed for a bit then without him they missed the play ins entirely.

Bulls fans have been hyping him up for years as this guy with major potential. He’s just not that good. A bunch of players that got drafted in drafts after his are all ready so much better than him

Nah Rudy can catch lobs at an elite level. The problem is when he’s going up for lobs and someone passes it to like his knees when he’s like 7’3 guy.

If ant gets a two man game going with Rudy they’ll be insane
