No problem for people who work from home and only need to go shopping once a week.

It solves the problem but you get several megabytes of output, better pipe that into a file and do some filtering and finish with sort -u

You forget the federation part, by default your instance is part of the fediverse and you can communicate with everyone.

The more I hear about how crappy Amazon are treating their employees the less I want to buy from Amazon again.

I looked it up: Okta is a corporate identity management service, they handle stuff like SSO, logins, AD, etc...

So I see why they are targeted.

I'm sure Arch and Manjaro are worth a try, back in the day I tried RedHat/SuSE/Slackware/Debian/Ubuntu and ended up with Mint Cinnamon.

The closest to Arch I tried was using Debian Sid, but got annoyed when I one time had to battle with getting it up and running after a dist upgrade. I really hope Arch handles those upgrades better.

The most annoying with that upgrade was that the UI changed to an early version of Gnome Shell, I think that prompted me to switch to Mint MATE

Well there's always Arch 😁

Good you did a thorough test, what distro did you end up choosing?

Yeah good idea, next year I hope it can trend some weeks before and then a few days before. Giving people time to celebrate the no commerce day.

Pro tip: Use /var/lib/flatpak instead of /dev/null for a neater result, you avoid having to clean up spilled bits.

The possum was looking so lonely in its death so the Florida Man just wanted to give it a gift.
