He’s had ankle problems ever since though, I don’t know if you could say that he was physically the same player after his injury.

Shaqs got a bit of an edge to him that people seldom mention. Doesn’t take jokes all too well, and seems to be a bit of an asshole to people that work for him.

Always remember one clip from Inside where he gets furious with a camera-man for not moving closer to the food that Shaq is eating. The camera-man is getting a perfectly good shot of the food from where he is, but Shaq pulls him over and essentially tells him off like a child live on TV, completely emasculating the guy.

IMO he’s a bit of a mean person who disguises himself as a nice guy by doing good things on camera.

You’re talking absolute nonsense buddy. Football is 90 minutes of nothing, with the occasional goal thrown in here and there. Basketball is constant action with a bucket every 1 minute at least.

As someone from a country where football is main sport than people care about, I gotta tell you that you’re talking absolute shite.

After the disappointing news of Steven Adams season-ending knee surgery, it got me thinking about how we would see less injuries if the season were made shorter, and players had more time to recover and rest.

So in this extreme hypothetical example, would you rather see a usual 82 game season, or a 41 game season spread over the same 6 months, where players are physically incapable of being injured? Less basketball, but potentially more games played by injury-prone players who usually sit out a large chunk of the season.
