Like I said, things cost what they cost. Either you want it enough that you’ll pay what it costs, or you don’t.

If you're comparing retail prices, then a lot of the difference will be local taxes and import duties. Even if you buy online from an international dealer, you'd likely have to pay the difference in price once the watch goes through customs (depending on specifically where you live and the import rules there).
At the end of the day, you can get as upset about it as you want, but things will cost what they cost.
There are always a bunch of these on eBay being sold out of India at super cheap prices. So bad that it's laughable.
My pick would be the superocean because I find the chronomat ugly as sin, but everybody has different tastes.
