I don’t know why but this makes me really angry.
Oh, I can think of a few reasons why.
It's too long for ChatGPT to process. I tried to break it up into a bunch of chunks to see if I could get it to condense it at all, but the final output was too long for Kbin to allow me to post, as there's a 5000 character limit here. Sorry, I tried. :(
That's an entirely different argument to make.
The fact is that there are phones out there that fill OP's niche need. Other comments in this thread even recommended phones that meet that need. They're not as common, though. Why is that? Because... it's... what's the word... Dang, right on the tip of my tongue. Aw, oh well, it'll come to me later.
No, it's niche because it's niche. If it wasn't niche, phones would be built for that use case in mind to begin with. This has nothing to do with me, and everything to do with the current state of devices available to consumers.
Fun fact: Martinet was also the voice of Paarthurnax, one of the dragons in Skyrim.
Also, I can't believe that Nintendo's own tweet about this announcement got one of the facts wrong. They wrote:
Charles Martinet has been the original voice of Mario in Nintendo games for a long time, as far back as Super Mario 64.
He was actually the voice of Mario before Mario 64. His first official Mario role was in Mario Teaches Typing, which came out two years before Mario 64.
Are they advanced enough yet to do convincing wahoos?
Doubtful. Nintendo isn't even advanced enough to host a single gameplay server for any of their top multiplayer games. Charging money for access to a P2P-networked game mode is not only an insult to the players, but honestly ought to be illegal, but that's another rant for another day.
I love Nintendo, but they really seem to be afraid of technology.
Like I told the other guy, I already acknowledged that niche use cases exist, and explained the steps that a user should take in that situation.
You defined niche as something that doesn't affect you.
I absolutely did nothing of the sort. Please try reading.
