Currently taking Japanese classes for fun. I'm about two years in and can have very basic conversations.

Took three years of German 20+ years ago and have German friends (and read German lemmy) so can practice sometimes.

I'm terrible at all of them and not that great at English either. I tend to "vomit language" moreso than speak well.

Sounds like you probably aren't getting enough sleep to get into REM very often. 4-5 an hour isn't the healthiest.

I don't dream much either, according to sleep studies. Do you have a sleep disorder and/or smoke weed?

My first experience was with an AOL free disk where you could only go to certain things. I was in 5th grade, around 1995 or so.

It was dark times all the way to college when I finally moved somewhere with broadband and Google started to exist.

They definitely don't make you fill out any forms, put trackers on you and the baby, and constantly check in over days. I'm sure it's super easy.

I think I'd go the Bobiverse route so I both get to die and be a self-replicating spaceship.
