I've been doing computer stuff for a long time and now I have a really dumb question... what's the benefit of 2x NICs?

In case you don't have a 2.5gb switch and you daisy chain to a NAS or something?

I'll have to take a look! Not heard of frigate, and thus far no, I'm not running Home Assistant.

I just found out that Blue Iris is made for Windows, so I guess I'll be running BlueIris, NAS, and torrents back on windows, probably ltsc.

I know I could try a vm or other such, but I don't feel like fighting BlueIris preferences.

Blows my mind that a "security and privacy" system like BI isn't native to Linux.

Thinks makes me wonder if they could make a "closed system" outside the natural range - like a giant greenhouse that includes the plant AND the bee.

Which would then turn into a movie-worthy story about the bees getting out and somehow causing the zombie apocalypse.

OR - it would just be BioDome with Pauly Shore. But with bees.

yeah, honestly, if you zoom out summary level, the whole thing is so confusing.

I'll admit I wasn't paying attention, so high-level he seemed like a Tony Stark, liberal darling: investing in space, internet access, electric cars, and solar. I mean, the dude was set to be a left-wing mascot. Boy was I an idiot. But I admit I wasn't paying close attention to any early flags.

Isn't Israel the 'bigger fish' in their conflict? I don't question that our status is "allies", but it's so strange thinking they need "help"?

yeah it seems like just a VERY quick way to say "the girl is cute and young-looking, typically petite, in a house/bedroom setting".

you can say all that, or "step".

Yeah I thought it was always the more the merrier, from other articles posted

I now predict that moment will be very cloudy for my area.
