I have no hope for him to face real punishment. My greatest hope is that her suffers real badly in the polls and is terribly unliked - so badly his consonant dissonance has to be at full steam trying to gaslight out of it.
He wasn’t sentenced (given the terms of the punishment) yet right? The judge, put that step on hold for after his term.
I agree. Hopefully without popular support we could get his grip to crumble from within if enough people despise him both internally and externally.

I’ll file this in the not helpful “hopium” or copium folder of discourse that is actually harmful to enacting change. It leads you to believe the tides are shifting in your favor and all will be ok when that’s actually not the case.
The idea is to present the idea: it might suck where you are but it’s worse in the blue places!
