Unfortunately this will only make him more likeable by Republican voters, seeing as they support pedophiles.

[–] DNS@discuss.online 3 points 1 week ago

Those dumbasses do know he's a pedophile as they deflect it back to everything being about Clinton. This country is fucked as half the population lives in an alternate truth while a third doesn't give enough of a fuck to care

He was also elected by saying that he grabs women by the pussy, and let you do whatever you want to them. Somehow, he captured the religious voting bloc because "he tells it like it is."

Nearly half of white women also voted for him, as the majority of white men did as well. HMMMMM

Frankly, Starbucks workers need to quit en mass if they want to see change. The only way you'll get these companies to listen is through a general strike. Stop working. It's only here in the US that people make up excuses as to why it can't happen.

Get organized at the local level, create food pantries for affected workers, and pool money together for bills. The fact that we are so divided as a country that a mere thought of a community is seen as "communism."

I really want AOC as president, but it's already fucking clear with the past 2 women nominees that the USA, despite claiming it is "progressive", will not vote for a woman. Even a white woman couldn't make it, what makes you think a brown one will again?

Only time I see it happening is if there is mass social upheaval, a desire for change like with Obama. Today, the propaganda machine has amplified and division is rooted deeply. We crossed the Rubicon as a nation.

Democrats are controlled opposition, which the belief is solidified by the recent senate vote. I'll still vote blue, but if the politician option of it being a coward/establishment then I might as well vote for a rat. Absolute disgusted our elected leaders have no spine as Republicans continue on their quest to achieve fascism and white supremacy.

Fuck those 6 and fuck Schumer.

Journalists are owned by billionaire's such as Jeff Bezos. The only teeth journalism has are small independent shops as the Big Journalists of our time work for an Oligarch.

Brother in Christ, Democrats have been controlled opposition for quite some time. It wasn't until Bernie, AOC, Mamdani, and others of their class that began to stand out from the Establishment. With Citizens United, there isn't much of a difference in terms of which party sucks Corporate dick.

You can buy a Tuff Shed for $20k with foundation installment, insulate it yourself, all for less than $27k. Toss in electrical, and water; you're looking at around $40k. Permits and such will probably add another $10-$15k. Overall, you're looking at $80k for a tiny home in a major city versus homes that go for more than $600k. Rurally in my county, I've seen homes go for $300k, so you're still saving a fuckton of money.

Tiny living absolutely goes against capitalism and our need to consume more than what we can handle to be further in debt by those who control the means.

Corporations are buying up homes to rent them out or tear them down to build small condos to rent out.

Land is limited in America and it'll get worse. Before covid I didnt buy a 5 acre lot for $4k because it was out in the desert + wife was unsure of job opportunities. The same lot today is going for $20k.

First time growing this variety and they're pretty tasty. Then again my taste buds are bland so the taste of these are extraordinary to me haha. I am really surprised how few of them csn be humongous while others are tiny. Either way, I grew too many that I can eat so I've been giving the excess away to family and friends.

Hatching another batch of peppers and starting cucumbers soon. You can follow me on TikTok under Deku Farms if y'all interested in more daily updates. I'm trying to be more active on lemmy 🙏🏽

One of the few pepper pods showing, bell peppers. I planted 5 to a box, with 3 of them being conjoined. I also added a vermicompost bin and to my surprise, the peppers have responded really well to that method as well as to my Amaranth + Basil.

I'm a bit behind on my pepper plants this season so im looking to catch up by planting more seeds this month, mainly from the grocery store bell peppers.

Some say they dont fruit or are bad, but honestly its worth a shot. Sounds like what Big Seed wants us to believe lol

I have more content on TikTok, Deku Farms if y'all care to follow 💚

I've been growing these sunflowers for a little over half a year and I think I'm always going to have these in rotation. The birds and bees love these beauties as one gets drunk off the pollen while the other snipes bugs from above.

Anyone ever harvested sunflower seeds to eat? How was the process and taste?

Planted Pink Ladies along with Red California Poppy to bring some life to my front yard. I've grown tired of the mono lawns I've seen and wanted to spruce things up.

It's been amazing seeing the flowers blossoming as well as fruits growing. Currently got blackberries, boysenberries, raspberries, blueberries, and grapes looking healthy as heck and pushing flowers!

Hello Earth Shepard's! Waiting patiently for some harvests to come in. So far I've been plucking away at my lemon trees to make lemonade (tried wine, but for health sake I'm sticking to lemonade) until everyone else catch up.

Invitees are: Blackberry (x2), Peach (x2), Raspberry(x2), Boysenberry(x3), Blueberry(x1), Strawberry (pulled a few and they're good, x8), Summer Crisp lettuce (still producing and tasty,x6), Tomatoes (Roma and Black Krim,x10), Apple (x1) Bell Peppers(x12) and Zucchini(x2).

As you can see, bell peppers and tomatoes make up a large part of my garden. I'm shifting more to a perrenial grow instead of annuals (peppers here are perrenials) hence the large amount of peppers. In hindsight, I should had bought more Blueberry bushes and at least another tray of strawberry starters.

Besides the strawberries and the trees, everything else has been grown from seed. Pictures are just a minor snippet of what's growing in my backyard.

Zone 10B. I forgot the variety of these, either Velvet Queen or just a generic red sunflower variety. The only red sunflower I managed to grow successfully so far compared to the regular kind.

Also learned how to harvest these seeds so I'm looking to keep a sunflower patch growing indefinitely. Just need to squeeze in another spot in the garden 😅

So stoked to see my tomatoes coming through. These are the beefsteak variety as I'm waiting for my Black Krim to sprout. I decides to go hard on producing more veggies and fruits since I been lollygagging on getting around to starting up my raised beds. Got a no til plot that should be ready to plant in, just undecided if I should give that plot to my tomatoes or to corn? What would y'all do? Growing anything juicy this season?
