I hate that I agree with this, but yup.
I hate to take Tik Toks side in anything, but in this case I dont think they should be liable. A kid made a dumb choice based on a stupid video...but even if it showed up in a feed, Tik Tok didnt e courage the behavior.
This one is a sad case of darwinism.

I stopped doing airbnbs a few years ago. Hidden fees, unreasonable rules and requirements. And now more expensive than most hotels. They just are worse now.
Darwinism wins again.
To add to this, back that local hardrive up on a REMOVABLE drive, and keep it physically detached. We are all one lightning strike away from near total loss.
I am speaking from an in-house research perspective. Dont get me wrong, the marketing people wish you were right. And there are definitely products that are getting closer. But overall, consumer feedback is "bleh".
Im glad you found something in this line you enjoy! I do product testing for a food manufacturer, and customers have been ubiquitous in saying they hate the plant based products. So I am speaking from my professional experience.
That said, things are getting better in this world, and hopefully soon we will have good meat alternatives that are not just niche cases.
I can make more money working during the delivery process than Id save by picking it up myself or taking time to cook.
