LBJ thought he could win Vietnam with a single bold stroke. Nixon knew the War was unwinnable, but once the US forces were bogged down he kept redoubling down. LBJ made a terrible mistake, but it was Nixon who really screwed things up.

I’ve yet to see an election where the Left sat by idly and got anything good.
That's the main point. But please, prove me wrong. Show me a time the Right won big and the Left benefitted.
So, your evidence is your interpretation of what was a common expression for hundreds of years.
If I bothered to, I'm sure I could find plenty of Left organizations that used exactly the same phrase.
Also, Heinlein wrote "...All You Zombies" about a transman; he had an African woman as a major character in "Tunnel In The Sky"; he predicted a religious dictatorship ruling America in "Revolt In 2100."
And condemning people for a single word or phrase IS directly from the Fascist playbook.
He said that he thought his DI did a good job of teaching him to be a responsible adult.
Look up 'The Bonus Army.' Those guys were all military veterans. They were also some of the most radical people in US history. When they came to Washington they tried to keep discipline like they'd been taught.
If forcing young people to act responsibly is 'fascist,' then every coach, teacher, and sensei is a fascist.
Here's the thing. If the Left doesn't vote, they look at the people who do vote.
I was educated by some old school Communists; folks who actually were in Spain fighting Franco and who got blacklisted in the 1950s.
One story they always told was that in 1968 a lot of young radicals were saying that Humphrey was as bad as Nixon and they would never vote for him
The folks who had been around told the non-voters that Nixon was truly terrible and that they should do what they could to defeat him.
I've yet to see an election where the Left sat by idly and got anything good.
Every time I hear someone online talk about wanting a war, I ask them how many bullets they have personally caught.
Before WW1 many folks thought that a war might be a good thing, because it would help things settle down.
So, you have no evidence that he was a Fascist. You have an opinion.
It's very important that you learn that you having an opinion about a fact doesn't change the fact.
What happens with those?
What happens when the crews stop getting paid? You think they are just going to walk away? You think those weapons will just disappear?
What makes you think the next boss is going to be any better?
In a better time line, he played Raul Julia's grandfather in an Addam's Family movie.
Do you have any proof?
That's unrealistic. You think the fall of America is going to be a simple affair? Here's just one reason it won't. All those aircraft carriers and submarines full of nuclear weapons. What happens with those?
Be careful what you wish for.
Look up Jerry Falwell and the Moral Majority.
They had a simple program to purge the GOP of anyone they didn't like. They would show up at every local GOP event with enough people to get their way on any issue. If twenty people had gone to the clubhouse the last time they'd had to pick the new county clerk, the MMs would show up with fifty.
Pretty soon those county clerks and sheriffs were Congress members. All it took was some on the ground organizing.
AOC and Omar did it.
