Australian here, we're in the shit. A good chunk of our rural voters support the LNP (who are doing everything they can to copy Trump). Universal healthcare has been slashed down to an inch of its life, and employment prospects are terrible for most everyone under 50.

If you're looking to escape the rise of facism, don't. Come. Here. We're lockstepping with the US and unless our upcoming election goes beautifully, we'll get even worse.

Well, I first played Dragon Age Origins with the framerate fluctuating between 10 and 20 FPS. Wasn't the most fun I've ever had, but ever since 30 - 60 felt like luxury. So yeah, anywhere from 10 to 30 is fine for me, but the more active a game is the closer to 30 minimum with a target of 60

Veilguard was excellent, but it pissed off bigots and now it's outright unsafe to speak positively about it on the other site.

Nah, it's both now. I call the new category Swumbles Empoisoned Jumble

I really need to start listening to the Paternoster Gang spinoff series - everything I see coming from it makes it seem fantastic; just been so focused on the Davison stuff lately I've not had the chance to try it

Sure, if Splatoon 3 were actually good. It's a game designed from the ground up to be frustrating, between terrible matchmaking, peer-to-peer multiplayer, and stage design that forces players into very lopsided combat.

Play something good with your family, not Splatoon 3.

Any recommendations for mods? I'm putting together a new build for it ahead of my semi-annual replay of the trilogy

Afraid that article is only true in the US and Canada - in Australia there's no sign of Classic Doctor Who anywhere

Nah that makes sense mate. I'm afraid I no longer have reddit - nuked it went I moved here on principle, so we'll just have to have a bit of patience. Have a good one in any case, I'll chat with you when you can :)

Chucked it through mate, hopefully it's working. My instance is Aussie.zone, so should've dodged the problem

Will do mate honestly, thanks so much!

Funny thing mate, I'm hoping to create a master collection precisely because I'm the kind of nerd who enjoys the reconstructions - huge fan of the audios and novels, so I absolutely think I'm goimg to follow your suggestions around starting points and go from there. Largely it's not strictly for a "complete rewatch", moreso it's about wanting to be able to read/watch/listen to pretty much everything on my own terms

Unfortunately the BBC has decided Australia doesn't get to watch any Doctor Who that was released before 2005 or is a spin-off. So uh, anyone got a plex share or torrent with the lot? Immediate preference is getting the same versions as what is available on iPlayer in the UK, but would settle for DVD rips if that's what's available.
