As far as I'm aware, the trackpads are not physical "buttons", the click is generated purely through haptics. There wouldn't be any spring involved. Try pressing them when the unit is off, they're just immobile blocks of plastic.

Nothing is too niche for modders to remaster, not even a '90s Star Wars FPS expansion pack where you play as Luke Skywalker's weird non-canon wife rescuing my favorite Expanded Universe dork in c/star_wars@lemmy.world

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I didn't think the Thrawn Trilogy was all that good. Still, it was about a billion times better than what Disney gave us.

How to speed up accessing lots of files on another computer? Some kind of local cache? in c/linux@lemmy.ml

Yes, flash memory has limited writes, but what are you doing with your USB drives that they fail? I have at least one from 2005 that still works fine.
