History of the World Part 2 was recently released as an 8-part series. I haven't watched it but reviews indicate it's not terrible.

Yes, there's Deep Rock Galactic which is a cooperative mining/bug killing game, and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor which is a single-player bullet heaven. Both are great, though if I had to choose I would go with the coop game (which can also be played solo).
