If it's a word that already ends in an s in its singular form, like Travis, I would pronounce it like "Travis is".
It's a word that only got an s at the end because it's pluralized, like "Smiths", I would generally just pronounce it like "Smiths".
Communities on Lemmy follow the rules of the community, and the instance that hosts that community. So, this would need to follow the rules of !leftymemes@lemmy.dbzer0.com and dbzer0, the instance that left memes is hosted on.
Both of these can be found in the sidebar on the main page of the community, aka !leftymemes@lemmy.dbzer0.com.
There are also some instances that will ban you for your comments/posts in other communities, but that's not common for most places that you would want to post anyway, or unless you post something very awful.
Thanks. I hadn't read the article yet, and I was concerned that the (real) CBC went hard-right.
People answering a question like "Would you like to do X, or Y?" with "yes."

I love that the league for 1 of 2 of the sports that Canada plays at a high level are speaking against this. The people actually involved with the sports say that it's no an issue, so other than just because you need a minority to bully in order to maintain power with your voter-base, why should we reckon it is?
What about banning tall kids from Basketball or short kids from gymnastics?
Neither are fair for everyone when someone under 1.5m can compete with someone over 2m.
Akathisia seems like a nightmare to live with, and she also has RC Bipolar 2.
Complete physical and metal unrest, I can completely understand her wanting relief.
It does sound like the process for MAiD wasn't followed, and you need to use the correct path.
"Rogues and Scoundrels" really doesn't feel like it's a good fit for Trek IP.
Maybe I'll be proven wrong.
Sometimes I purposefully seek out LGBTQ games.
It's nice to see a story that I can actually relate to once in a while, instead of another "straight white guy who is enough of an every man to be relatable to the masses, but still strong enough to save the world and get the girl." Seeing the same "Hero's Story" over and over and over in media gets boring, and if you want to see more of something, that thing needs to be profitable so more people make it.
