You can, but it's basically nothing.

You can make more from selling one hoody than you would get from half a million views on shorts.

Whats criminal is $9 for ground beef.

With the amount of effort it takes to raise the cow, and the amount of environmental damage it does, beef only costing $9 per pound is almost criminal.

I think that your comments about Ukraine may get you banned in a lot of places.
Ukraine is not a Nazi state.

You wrote that post with a flat affect.
Sarcasm isn't hard to read, when it is actually written.

You needed to so something with capitalization, italics, /s, make a point that counteracts the part you are being sarcastic about, use the rule of three, use juxtaposition, or worst of all, use an emoji. I don't hate emoji just to hate them, it's just that they look different depending on the end-user's machine. This can make the feeling of the post feel drastically different.

Also remember that this is the internet. Think of the absolute dumbest thing you can think of, something that is very easily disprovable, and there will be true-believers of that thing. Earth is flat, NFTs are a good idea, and that Romana Didulo is the queen of Canada. All things that people actually believe.

The Weekly Pellet is a website for people in the plastics industry.

Here's a site focused on people in the food industry:
https://www.chefsresource.com/is-nylon-food-safe/

Nylon is considered food safe while it is in good condition, but not if it has been damaged or used at temperatures higher than what it is rated for. If you cook at max on your stove top, you can exceed the safe temperature of Nylon very easily.

Well, the article is about how sane-sized housing options are leading to more affording living spaces, and builders are beginning to prioritize affordability over McMansions. So hopefully this will lead to you being able to improve your living situation if you can't move to an affordable city, since more options should reduce demand, which should reduce prices.

You know the people that copy-paste things into kickstarter to try to get a refund, or those old copy/past things people would put on their facebook walls about the ownership of their pictures or whatever?

That link is the Lemmy version of that.

We're not rich, and we have people over for Cities without Numbers, but 6 people fit around a table.

You can entertain at a sane level without needing a living room, a sitting room, a dining room, an eat-in kitchen, a rec room, and 3 spare guest bedrooms.

The median size is still 2,179 square feet, or about 200 square meters. That's still stupidly large. The average US family is 3 people, you could cut that house-size in half and it would still be fine.

Make a USB that you can "live boot" from, so you can test out how they work with your hardware. Generally speaking, Mint works better with AMD, and Pop! works better with Nvidea. Once you have one you like, you can use the installer on USB to set things up.

Here’s the official basic guide for Mint:

And here’s the official basic guide for Pop!:

Are you upset that they would even consider trying to not provide the services that they are paid to, or are you upset that Canada allows people to choose to end their suffering?
