Just started playing Graveyard Keeper and it's interesting but it seems really grindy. Hopefully it starts picking up a bit as I play. I'm also wondering if I should get any of the DLC now or wait a (mastodon.world)

I tried to mod Cyberpunk 2077 and it was not a smooth experience. I first tried using Vortex in Bottles but it wouldn't run. I then tried to use ProtonUp-QT but couldn't figure out exactly what to do. (mastodon.world)

I tried to mod Cyberpunk 2077 and it was not a smooth experience. I first tried using Vortex in Bottles but it wouldn't run. I then tried to use ProtonUp-QT but couldn't figure out exactly what to do. I discovered that there's a new NNM AppImage that's early in development that works with Cyberpunk.

I'll have to try again in the future and figure out how ProtonUp-QT, ProtonTricks, Steam Tinker Launcher, etc.

@BotsRuinedEverything My opinion on games and mods is that the first playthrough should always be vanilla. This allows you to get a feel for what the game is actually like and allows you to provide an honest review for the game. It also lets you know what parts of the game need improvement so you know what mods to look for.

One thing I would suggest is to get the Phantom Liberty expansion. It fits really well with the rest of the game and adds a merchant to buy missed Iconic weapons.

@Cptn_Slow I've only immediately replayed two other games. Mass Effect and Dishonored.

I finished my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. I absolutely love the setting for the game and hopefully they'll make a sequel. Cyberpunk is going to join the very small selection of games I immediately replay. I just need to figure out how to do mods on Bazzite first.

Just finished the Run This Town quest in Cyberpunk 2077 and the VAs for Aguilar nailed it. They both have that perfect mix of smooth and threatening. I'm sad that the character is only available for (mastodon.world)

I've finally played all the modules in Kittens + Beasts. (mastodon.world)
 

I've finally played all the modules in Kittens + Beasts.

Kittens - A good addition that add incentive to be first

Beasts - I found this to be kinda meh. I didn't like that you can only get beasts on the first day which makes it really easy to just skip the whole module.

Events - I really enjoyed this module. The events really add additional layers of strategy and time sensitive ways to score points.

I just got the Kittens + Beasts Expansion for Isle of Cats and played the Kitten module. The small size of the kittens and being able to rescue two for one basket makes it easier to fill out those (mastodon.world)

It definitely adds incentive to be first for the round.

I was thinking about getting a Steam Deck but I'm not entirely sure if it's better than my GTX 970. I'll have to do more research since there's no point in getting something that isn't an upgrade. in c/steamdeck@lemmy.ml

@BumpingFuglies You don't have any problems when using it docked? I had read a few posts claiming that running it docked caused it to struggle.

Relatives were visiting over the weekend and we played Tsuro with the kids. It's really easy to learn, quick to play, and has some strategy to it. in c/boardgames@feddit.de

@Spat_U_Later the simple game mechanic makes it really easy to explain to new players. It's the only game the kids were able to easily pick up with a single explanation of the rules.
