Thanks, this is what I'm dreading, losing a year of growth. Luckily, they seem to happy there :p

Unfortunately, local legislation forces me to yield access for something like an extension. Bigger is better for the root ball in this situation?

I haven't yet, my biggest worry is the workers building the extension will step on them constantly. Will cutting them back allow them to survive being stepped on?
