Wouldn’t hurt to try a pull marketing strategy like a profile on fiverr where people come actively looking for the service you are providing. Then it’s a cost and service game. It helps because the potential buyer is usually further down the adoption decision pipeline.

Most of the time it’s just differences in cognitive processing. She doesn’t mean any harm and is most likely is only wired through nature and nurture to see life and problem solving through different lens. I would encourage you to take an MBTI test with her to find out her cognitive style and cater to it for the most productive discussions. You both would indeed benefit from it. From what I’ve read you strike me as an ENTP and she strikes me as an ISTJ so read about the ISTJ type (once verified) and tailor your pitch to how she would best absorb it.

It entitles them to x% of earnings attributable to shareholders which is technically different from operating profit, assuming that is what you meant by profit.

It’s not necessary that they would retain full control. It’s atypical but the investor could ask for a new super voting share class to be created giving them say 25 votes per share. Then the entrepreneur would keep the majority stake but lose the controlling interest. My advice: look at the term sheet Carefully! Also is your business really worth 600k given the future value of your cash flows? Make sure you get a fair deal :)

If you’re 15 and you’re thinking like this I’ll tell you already that you’ll be successful. As for your $1500 first ask yourself whether you want immediate and high ROI with high risk or a more balanced long term approach. If it’s option A, look into options trading. If it’s option B, look into assembling a small portfolio and invest in index funds. Option C is another low yield option, but very safe; US government bonds. You’ll get back 4 ish %.
