That's actually not gender specific, good looking people generally do better and are judged less harshly, regardless of gender.

Generally convictions are less severe for women though, so that doesn't explain it...

Music isn't just making patterns.

Oh but it actually is, and there's been loads of studies on exactly what combinations of chords and transitions people generally find pleasing to listen to. Thats also why you can play literally thousands of popular songs from throughout modern history with the exact same 4-chord pattern. This is extensively utilised by so-called "hit makers" when producing for this exact reason, it is near universally pleasing to listen to.

It's also about telling stories through sound

To some, sure it is. But to the music industry in general it really isn't, it's about making a catchy tune (usually by method mentioned above) to make some money. It's a sad reality of the industry, like it or not.

It can't comprehend what it means to be human, and it doesn't have deep thoughts that drive it to create.

Again, the vast majority of music hitting mainstream channels is pretty much cookie cutter production with no deep thoughts behind it, despite being made entirely by humans.

They're produced in China...they'll be pounded in to the ground with tariffs

I'd probably go with the Sovol...both of these printer are going to take a beating with that kind of use and I think that one will be cheaper to service in the long run...and you're going to service them a lot printing that much.

CR2032s are used in many things that require significantly more power than that, and this cell is absolutely unfit for almost all other uses than barebones old school digital watches.

[–] ExcessShiv@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 3 months ago

Its not, power output is less than 1/1000th of what a cr2032 can deliver

Not really actually...not from a single cell at least

100 microwatts

This is a very important spec to include...this battery can deliver 0.03mA of power, which is incredibly little.

The video 0x0 linked to in another comment describes the likely method used to infer distance to objects without a stereoscopic setup, and why it (likely) had issues determining distance in the cases where they hit motorcycles.

The ridiculous thing is, it has 3 cameras pointing forward, you only need 2 to get stereoscopic depth perception with cameras...why the fuck are they not using that!?

Edit: I mean, I know why, it's because it's cameras with three different lenses used for different things (normal, wide angle, and telescopic) so they're not suitable for it, but it just seems stupid to not utilise that concept when you insist on a camera only solution.

If you think it shakes the part loose when moving print plate back and forth, try reducing accelerations and max speed of your Y-axis
