I’m getting a gaming PC soon because I want to use VR and while I do want to primarily use Linux, I will be keeping a Windows install for it.
A gaming PC is also not something that anyone needs, but I want to own one and I want to play VR games on it. Your point is not as good as you think.
That is ridiculous. I love Monster Hunter, but if that happened to me I would instantly refund the game.

Yeah, from what I know only SteamVR really works at all and not that well. Given that I probably can’t afford a Valve Index or a HTC Vive Pro2, I’ll use Windows for VR with a Meta Quest 3. My main OS would probably be Garuda Linux.
I’ll still be sticking to a dual-boot when I get a new PC, mainly for VR.
The Fifth Season may take a bit longer than a day, but it’s worth it.
