If I was some crazy schizophrenic religious nut job, I'd say God is punishing states like Texas with severe weather due to shit like this...but I know it's just awful weather patterns from Global Warming...which is also Texas's fault by a lot so I'm not too far off either way

I always feel sad betraying one person or the other. They did a really good job of not making the choice easy

What are some plot points you could imagine being in the sequel depending on your actions from the first game, similar to Mass Effect? (lemmy.world)
 

My first thought comes to one of the first missions of the game with Maelstrom, between Royce and Brick.

I usually save Brick in that mission and I could picture him playing a role like Wrex from Mass Effect. One of the biggest leaders of Malestrom, their gang now bigger and nastier than ever, no one wants to fuck with them. Brick is in charge, and when V shows up, ready to draw guns again, Brick appears and he gives you that big tough guy respect like how Wrex did, saying this is the crazy motherfucker who saved my life and proceeded to blow up half of Night City afterwards.

There's so many small things I could picture being different in the sequel. I hope this will be the case since even The Witcher 3 had some pretty significant changes to the story depending on the options you chose about what happened in The Witcher 2.

That's my thought. Like any new Ninja-like game that comes out now is gonna be compared to GoT since it was so damn good. If it doesn't at least compare to the quality of GoT then it's not gonna impress anyone when you have a better game released years ago that's going to have a sequel soon.

In 2021, Texas was the number one state contributing to CO2 emissions, and by a lot...like 2 times as much compared to the second state (California)

I remember people on the Internet talking about the Microsoft Bethesda deal. I saw people saying that it's "actually a good thing" and how Microsoft can contribute more to Bethesda and they'll churn out better games for Xbox. Then I see shit like this and games like Starfield and understand why 99% of the people on the Internet have no fucking clue what they're talking about.

Nah Baldurs Gate 3 set a new standard for an RPG. I'm sure the new Zelda was a fantastic game but I doubt a sequel for a Zelda game is gonna be as influential

Prime's entire UI already sucks dick. I can't even tell which shows/movies I can watch without having to pay, rent, or subscribe. Like mfer I'm paying to watch whatever Amazon has to offer. I only use it for The Boys, Reacher, and Invincible. Even with how much I would love to support these shows, fuck Amazon.
