I mean, as the other guy pointed out, you as a people stole the fucking lot and literally massacred thousands upon thousands of people to do it.
Shoe's on the other foot now, eh?
No, no, and thrice no.
Technocracy implies a ruling elite of experts in their field, individuals with actual learning and genuine expertise in their given fields.
This is fascist plutocracyb government by the hyper-rich with no more qualifications than "I have no morals and am willing to climb over others' faces while wearing steel spikes to get yet more."
There is a world of difference.
You. I like you. Keep doing what you're doing. π
Those poor kids would otherwise grow up into the next generation of coal rolling, republican voting binfires. My sympathy is somewhat limited.
Have you lived on the moon?
That's the best you've got? "lmao"
The Chinese government is an authoritarian shitshow. This is objective fact.
Before you even try it, don't "what about" and point to another authoritarian shithole like that makes China's continuing abuses ok. It's not, and there is no defending it. To attempt to do so is excusing it, and merely shows your ignorance and/or complicity.
I had a thought the other day;
Rich people make an intelligent logic machine called "AI" and try to bend it to their will, but they feed it everything as training data. These proto AI are rapidly becoming "black boxes", and that's only to get worse.
Right wing ideas and politics are all based on provable lies and appealing to human greed and bigotry, the evidence for which is everywhere.
I really don't think these budding AIs are going to turn out how the rich intend.
How much would it have hurt Israel if the US govt. had shut down?
While those being gutted just stand by and do nothing.
If you have the power to stop something, and choose not to, you're choosing to help. That makes you complicit, and history will not be kind to you.
No chance. The populace doesn't yet have the balls. Until they personally are going hungry or watching their families die, nothing will change.
Proof? History.
You're right in that it was a comment designed to "stir the pot", if by that you mean, "make someone stop for a moment and consider their position in history".
I agree that any right thinking person, of Native American origin or otherwise should be aghast at the current US administrations utter destruction of everything, from old growth forest to human structures of civilisation.
Reading it back, my comment sounds flippant and ignorant. That's on me for commenting pre-coffee and smoke. π
