Genuinely millions of people think the government doing stuff is socialism / communism.

This protest is aimed at the government, not US society. While not the most radical, its important to show just how many people care about this cause.

I think it's a joke about liberal virtue signaling. He doesn't understand why times have changed nor does he tackle morality in his reasoning, he's just an idiot. But times have changed, so he's less abhorrent now.

Biden has optically fumbled, and his polling has shown deep disapproval. Despite hints and a feeling that he and the US will perform a more measured approach, following public pushback. I don't see the US doing the right thing, but more... Oversight and perhaps moderation.

Capital pays more and more for the inputs: fuel and technology, in order to justify their control. And then once they have it, they use progress to justify poor labor protections. They never use the predicted best solution, or even a compromise, they use the solution that offers them more power.
