Dog I just told it I wanna game and have game Dev supported distro. Guess what? OpenSUSE, Zorin, and every flavor of Ubuntu. I was assuming it would tell me Fedora/Nobara, Ubuntu, and Debian Stable.

I used to think this was sound advice but I'm on KDE Plasma and it's almost exactly like windows but with the Alt-F2 search menu, stay on top is installed by default. I don't know all the desktop environment options but it sounds like there's more reasonable options.

I know of Arch wiki, but are there wiki's explaining easier distros? I'm on Nobara, because I want to game, but perhaps I could be learning to configure and install some of these tools to be able to one day use any distro for whatever I wanna do?

This sort of attitude is completely new to me and so awesome. Like I can just contribute to software? 🤯

I have choice words for the UI/UX of most Matrix clients. And they're open source!

You are right, but: Medium, Substack, Patreon, Kofi. Being a writer/blogger was a death sentence 10 years ago but the avenues for doing it are growing again.

This is a really good point.

This doesn't sound like worth celebrating, to me. I'm 26 and unemployed for family reasons. Would me working and hiring someone else to do this labor be an improvement? Should I hire a caregiver, a driver, a maid, and a handyman? All while I break my body in a warehouse? Orrrr should I just be unemployed for like, a year? 🤣 unemployment for all. More need to be able to choose, it would improve the effectiveness of society.

Yeah a lot of Tesla's revenue is selling carbon credits because their processes are less polluting. They make ungodly amounts of money by doing this.

you wouldn't want your entire system to depend on a random single developer maintaining it.

Running Nobara and I am new to desktop linux. Am I okay? Should I make a change?

Super glad to hear from him. Leftist here, in love with politics. Don't mind hearing about anyone's political views.

Disagree. I've never heard a target of this tactic say it changed their minds.
