I have decided for my mental health to take a break from Lemmy and go touch grass instead. I enjoy my time here, but it is taking away from things I should be doing, and things I want to do. I find myself doomscrolling for hours on here and I know that's not healthy.

So I am going go finish reading a lot of books.

Going finishing writing a lot of books.

And going start going on long walks.

Starting a new job Monday and it will be work from home. I am excited and nervous, but ready for the new chapter of my life. And I need to do something productive and unplug for a few weeks from all the negative shit going on in the world.

Besides October is coming up soon my favorite time of the year, so want to enjoy the real world for a bit and hop off social media. I'll be back but hopefully I can do better than scrolling for hours on end.

Hope you all have great rest of the month, and also a wonderful Halloween.

Saw this in Big Hero Six. It's a crazy concept. Hopefully it works.

Well if you read the Knights of Round table. Which is number 8 you see something like that. But no I would not do a sex doll. I have foul language comics, but nothing vulgar not for Bill's Aquarium.

Something seriously wrong with this gentleman. We need more mental health treatments in this country.

Exactly how this will play out. Nowhere was this normal to allow the firing until they hear arguments. Normally she would have kept her job until then.

Yeah I get that, but goddammit I see some doing it and want to live that life.

[–] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah but from behind how come we can't see his face from.the prospective of the reporters at the time it stops?

You have to read the comics to get it. But Guppie always having assorted items that he can't possibly have in a fish tank. You see they live in a fish aquarium in someone's home. It's the whole gag. I have several comics lined up that will be wholesome and humorous. Only few out right hilarious. I will draw some in the coming weeks that can address the questions you might have.

Not sure we were all told he killed himself. Who knows someone else could of pulled the trigger. But regardless no way he went to heaven. He would have never asked for forgiveness but in his mind he did nothing wrong.

OKLAHOMA CITY–Senator Dusty Deevers issued on Thursday the following statement on the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a national leader in the fight for truth, faith, and freedom of speech:

“Charlie Kirk was a bold defender of truth, an unyielding advocate for free speech, and a tireless champion for America’s founding values. Most importantly to me, he was a faithful evangelist proclaiming Christ crucified to millions,” Deevers said. “Charlie inspired countless young people to stand courageously for liberty without apology. His passing is a tremendous loss not only to Oklahoma, but to our nation.”

To honor Kirk’s memory and continue his mission, Senator Deevers encouraged the legislature to prepare to enthusiastically pass three measures recently introduced by Senator Shane Jett, R-Shawnee, in the 2026 session:

Senate Bill 1188 – Establishes Charlie Kirk Free Speech Day in Oklahoma, to include statewide programs and discussions promoting open dialogue and the protection of Constitutional rights. Senate Bill 1187 – Requires the creation of a Charlie Kirk Memorial on every public college and university campus in Oklahoma as a permanent symbol of the importance of free expression and open discourse, and of the evil of political violence. Senate Concurrent Resolution 13 – Officially recognizes and honors the life and work of Charlie Kirk, commending his dedication to proclaiming the gospel and preserving America’s heritage of liberty. “Charlie Kirk devoted himself to strengthening the next generation to stand strong in the truth. For that, he was cut down. We must honor and continue his legacy,” Deevers said. “I look forward to doing so come next session.”

I was told if you have 1000 books you are official library. I just catalog all the books me and my wife have and it came out at 900. If I included books I have duplicates in I would have 913 books. So close but so far away. I look forward to expanding my collection. But at same time I wouldn't mind having this whole collection in ebook form so that I could travel and still have access to all my books.

How many books do anyone here on this instance have?

Finally a reason to dust off my PS5. I wonder if we are going have to buy DLC for all the states are they going be included?
