Yes, I see the tension has become worse. I just found and read this beehaw document on the matter.

For what it's worth, I want to continue to be a part of Beehaw. I really appreciate the value that they stand for.

I created this alternate account and stopped using my Beehaw account because it seemed like they're departure from Lemmy was imminent. Today, it seems they're departure is still on the horizon, but not anytime soon. I guess one can only watch and see.

Lack of federation? My understanding was that Beehaw planned to migrate away from Lemmy altogether. Has that changed?

This is really great info. Thank you.

How I might I determine if "the fused branch is already presenting an increased risk." I don't see any evidence of anything strange currently. Only some tree lichen in some spots.

There is a ton of info there. Thank you! Adding to my resource list.

Thank you! The link was also helpful. It reminded me how I saw spots on the leaves and I want to get a good close look this year and figure out what I can do about that.

😁 Me too. This was rare for me. FUTO with offline STT has been such a boon. I'm glad to be away from google's gboard.

This is exactly my case. Ads on apps as well. I completely forget that people have to see all that constantly.

I wonder how much real estate that sponsored content takes. Then again, not enough to visit google and turn off UBO.

Company computing assets are managed. One normally doesn't get to override IT policy without business justification.

I've been using LibreOffice for a number of years without issue. Literally takes care of all my word processing and spreadsheet needs. I don't miss MS Office at all, which I use daily at work.
