While I think this is a good level headed take, you're seriously underestimating how comfortable with fascism the average american voter truly is. If they readily accept "immigrants and queers did it" as an answer to their admittedly worsening living standards, when corporations are no longer even hiding their plunder, they were looking for a reason to turn on them anyway.

This is by design, and the democrats are just as much at fault. The US flag has been synonymous with torture, genocide, death squads, weaponized rape whether a Democrat or a Republican is at the helm, and it's only been the so-called hard leftist minority struggling for change within the US. As long as they reaped a tiny sliver of benefit from global imperialism, they were happy to shut up and tug for a bigger slice of the pie.

Now that they hardly even get the crumbs, parts of the electorate want to continue as usual, another part wants to get the whole world again so the crumbs alone can fill them up. But the US, from the ground up, has been designed so that you can only get a progressive in power by accident. If a fascist can get elected and immediately start wielding near-absolute power, you were always a corporatocracy with a fascist contingency plan.

People who think the trolley problem has a clear cut solution that we have to "get" are on the starting edge of the Dunning-Kruger curve.

Wherever there's Americans, there's fascists. Their media is so xenophobic all the time they think not calling for concentration camps for Mexicans is all it takes to not be racist. Can't believe it's not just acceptable, but popular to act like Finland has any right to be xenophobic against Russians.

"But the war", yeah, check again when the winter war was and what exactly Finland wanted to achieve. Scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds.

Plus, they actually have a history of injecting backdoors into everything. Israel's government is known in the international stage for their espionage and blackmail first and foremost (on the domestic, for their genocide of course).

He was also very concerned about how completely unhinged the CIA was and how it operated with total impunity. No such concerns from any president since, somehow.

"We should vote for Strasser instead of Hitler because they'll both kill the Jews anyway, but Stresser would be better for us"

Man, Americans really are way too comfortable supporting a genocide as long as they don't have to be reminded too often.

With the state of western software development and how ingrained the US and Israeli security state seems to be there, plus how much China seems to be prioritizing top-to-bottom self-sufficiency in tech, I wouldn't be surprised if a Chinese fork that welcomes Russian contributors becomes a force unto itself.

An ecosystem where India, Russia, and China based coders take leadership is an ecosystem that has a bigger chance for mass adoption in the biggest manufacturing economies in the world.

In fact, the Democrats since the 60's have run campaigns WAY against the threat of late-stage Capitalism.

Bruh what world are you living in lmao. Obama reached to bankers uncaringly tanking the global economy by giving them money to do with as they wished (and, as always, they wished to give themselves a bonus).

I made a face reading that until you said "ideally cool overnight" and it immediately sounded like I want to try it as a pasta salad.

That does sound really good and sort of appropriate, like a curried beef or something. Idk why anybody gives you a look lol it's a protein in sauce served over rice, what's even weird about it?
