Yeah, the Microflaccid and Google stuff we could probably replace, but it probably would require extra people on call to fix bugs and do maintenance to make up for the lost corporate tech support...
The only problem with Europe is that we don't have our own social media (and some services like Microsoft), so to play hardball with tariffing the big tech companies, it would involve some risk that everybody would be forced to spend a few Summer months outdoors touching grass and playing sports in the Sun...and that...that would be unforgivable...
Probably the same as North Korea, with the amount of money laundering, ransomware, propaganda and scams they do 😄
even better is that if you count the undecided as a party, the division is threefold, like with brexit (or hard brexit, soft brexit, bremain). Looks like people just toss coins around when they vote in a sea of meaningless dumb/predatory campaigns with contradictory messages and daily polling where they aim for that magical 50%....maybe polarization of means of media production...
I can't think of a single example where allies of the defenders were really quick to intervene unless they were already mobilized and ready to go. The attackers are always faster to start with.
Like they negotiated with China. Oh wait, they hate the EU more than China? Then they do have a problem :)
The only problem I have with this is that the final risk models and reports for decision makers will probably be private, which is a waste and creates even more info asymmetry in the middle of an ongoing crisis and denialism.
Yeah, it's like those people who fall for ads where people get rich going to the casino.
My language teachers always told me it was bad form to use too much or even to nest parenthesis...
Then I found lisp...
