I think i can get to 40ish words. I mean i have a whole day to focus on remembering the words, and it's not ridiculously hard since its only 1 additional word per day, while the rest remain the same. It seems if I do make it to 40 words, i would have earned 666,000.00 USD which is pretty amazing. here's table of the first 10 words:

Day | Cash per day	| Number of words |	cumulative earned
1	1,000.00 5 1,000.00
2	2,000.00 6 3,000.00
3	3,000.00 7 6,000.00
4	4,000.00 8 10,000.00
5	5,000.00 9 15,000.00
6	6,000.00 10 21,000.00

Kane noted that academic declines are appearing in other countries as well, which suggests a broader global trend that could be linked to increased screen use.

From the article as well. So the pandemic definitely didn't help, but they also don't feel it is only because of that. The article also mentions that the decline started since before the pandemic as well.

I feel in this case, it just "proves them right" . Your 5 year old won't begin to use silence as a sign that they're right and spread videos of that debate to thousands of people.

yeah idk who "they" are specifically (i know in some state/city, they want the 10 commandments in schools), but I doubt they are a religious group that believes in all of the old testament, which means you make a very good point.

watched the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZPWbpOnZ-8

Kirk actually has a good point in that those lines are from the old testament, which Christians believe doesn't apply, and only believe in the new testament. Assuming Kirk is right that it isn't in the new testament ( the Cambridge speaker doesn't contest it either, for whatever that is worth). From the the student then pivots to talking about a new testament description along the lines of: Man shall not sleep with man, which he says can be interpreted differently than man and man and could be man and prostitute. Kirk contends that the traditions and interpretations were created during the time that the writings were created, and so there is no loss of translation then, and those understandings have been passed down until down consistently. I will say, i've summised this, but it is a lot more of a meandering argument afterwards that is not very interesting to watch.

I feel like the cambridge student shouldn't have even brought up the lines in videos above because it doesn't completely apply to Kirk's religious beliefs. The student studied the bible decently enough to make his point, but it seemed he needed additional context of Kirk's beliefs to make a strong point against Kirk.

Failed to load media?

Idk the retraction is pretty honest. Not to mention, that source may have said things originally, and not wanted to continue to say those same things afterwards for any number of reasons(they were lies or even, they don't feel comfortable being publicized)

I'm assuming they found other rounds that were engraved.

So it seems you're trying to say that some of new week's articles may not be of high quality so we shouldn't dismiss them as a reliable news source. I feel like that's a very low bar for a news source in a world with a lot of fake news, that ultimately makes Newsweek unreliable.

Live in LA. Water is good

I'm doing interviews for companies that would involve API integrations. I've done a couple now where I was given some general API information (some intentionally unclear, some more clear) and I felt I didn't do well. Mainly I was nervous, and felt very pressured just to understand how the different parts of the APIs interact with each other and should be interacted with. This is despite doing this for work and myself not feeling as nervous doing more common coding tests which I don't do as much at work(thanks to doing examples on hackerrank, Leetcode helping me feel more comfortable).

So what are the resources I should leverage to practice API integrations? How should I go about practicing? Especially considering that I do need to perform in a certain way during interviews.

For a while now, I've been unable to actually view the Volaris website while using Ubuntu 22.04 (In a previous version I believe as well). I've tried Brave, Firefox, and Chrome with the same results so I don't believe its browser specific (as most people use one of those 3 web browsers), which leads me to believe its Linux specific (as I doubt Volaris' website has been broken like this for over 2 years now).

The website seems to load some background images, but then it stops loading. I'm basically unable to interact with the website in any way. Sometimes I'll get a captcha to even access the website. The workaround that I have found was actually going into the inspector and refreshing. This make the website function again while the inspector is open.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I just recently got into using a bike for commuting and I was wondering if this is a good way to secure my bike? I know, previously, people would recommend only needing to lock the back tire to a solid object, but I’ve seen videos of people easily cutting the back tire, breaking it and taking the frame/front tire. My method of locking is sort of similar, except I do lock around the splash guard. If this isn’t very secure, I’d have to get a longer ulock or chain, because there doesn’t appear to be an easy way for me to lock around the back tire, frame and solid object with my current ulock. Any suggestions are appreciated.
