[STOC] What’s your collection philosophy? in c/watches@style.land

I’m a box checker, but I make the boxes myself. What I want the core of my collection to be:

-3 GADA on steel, black/white/blue faces
-1 work watch of minimalist/bauhaus design
-1 classic dress watch
-1 beater

Ideally those would be luxury pieces, but that’s not likely to happen for a very long time, if ever.

[QUESTION] What's your opinion on this watch, is it worth 850-1000 euros? Seiko Presage Sharp Edged Midnight. And will someone rob it on the streets of Finland, because its expensive af. in c/watches@style.land

Is this your first/only watch? Get what you like, obviously, but I would opt for something a bit more versatile if it was my one and only.

I impulse bought a Seiko Starlight I found on eBay a couple years ago. It being limited edition, FOMO got the best of me, but I’ve almost never worn it. The dial is incredible, but it’s just not really my taste anymore.
