For Denver, it's multiple options, and they are decently obvious.
UFA's: Josey Jewell is the big one. Been a captain of our defense for a couple years now but we need to get younger amd faster. Cushenberry as well. Couple years ago was a hated Bronco for his less than stellar play. Now he's a decent center but not one we will throw 8+ million at.
Trades: Justin Simmons,Courtland Sutton, and Garrett Bolles are the big three. They are beloved by the fan base. Simmons is 30 and we would like to see him be on a contender to play for a ring if he won't be here. Sutton is good but not 15 million a year for two years good. Finally, Bolles is our best o lineman but if we keep him we will have three o lineman being paid 15 million+ each (Bolles, Powers, McGlinchey).
Cap Cut: Tim Patrick is here because he has had two major injuries in as many seasons and is owed over 10 million next year. I don't see him lasting through the off-season as a Denver Bronco even though when he is on the field he had the surest hands of the bunch.
