Yes thats a reasonable plan, I would not buy anything recondition and for cloud, i’d look at idrive

I would check out idrive, affordable. They offer private key encryption also. Will backup your external drives too

flatbed is best in my opinion, feeder is good for a few old photos, etc,..but cataloging many of them, and they possibly might be bent, etc flatbed is best
