Hi everyone!

I'm currently working for a digital marketing agency in the U.S. Next month, I will move to my home country and transition to being a remote independent contractor for the same company.

However, as a non-US citizen, I'm worry that I might get laid-off and stuck with low-paying local jobs. So, I've been thinking about backup plans in case that happens.

Do y'all have any tips/advice on finding a US based remote job while being overseas and a non-US citizen?

I do plan on expanding my skills to web dev, analytics, etc. to increase my chances. I also think that my workers could give me refferals, and asisst me in finding a new job. With all those things combined, I'm still unclear of what my chances of success are.

Thank you so much!
