Yeah I know, but the problem as we've seen is: Nobody holds the Trump administration to account. Congress might vote to release the files but I have zero faith in them to also hold him to account if he should be found in them.

Damn, maybe hiring someone just because she's a good looking blonde woman isn't the best option if you need a competent lawyer. Halligan has to be disbarred surely, everything she touches fails miserably and she obviously doesn't have the slightest knowledge of her job.
I'm sure the government was closed this long to give them time to scrub many of the files. There's a reason they're now all fine with releasing them.
Their donors wanted a shutdown for 40 or so days ? And which specific donors ? Explain that to me, because it sounds idiotic and just a lazy argument. 'Oh the donors behind it all wanted this' doesn't mean anything.
This sounds naive, nothing personal. Mike Johnson already openly said he doesn't promise anything. There will either be no vote on the ACA or Republicans will just all vote against it.
Democrats got played and they deserve all the hatred thrown at them for it.
I despise the corporate Dems almost as much as MAGA. They are spineless cowards who would be more than happy to fall in line if it was their side that had a version of Trump.
Hope they get voted out for good.
Do you believe they will hold that vote ? Or they'll just make it a vote that requires a simple majority, vote against it and Dems will look like the idiots they are for trusting the GOP.
