I mean I love it but I really can't recommend it to anyone who wants to use their PC without spending several hours to do simple things.

Ah this makes sense since I started nixos 3 weeks ago and was sure I already was on a wiki before April. I believe the official one is also mostly copied from the unofficial one for now
I tried single gpu passthrough. In theory it should work that with some settings you unload the driver and give it to the vm and then back.
However I couldn't get working without ending on the login screen and starting a new session. So there waw no point for me if I can't keep my software running.
They released their wiki apparently on April 1st.
So now we need just to fill it with the missing content. (which there is a lot). And it will be as good as the arch one..... In 20 years.

Apple is on it's best way to kill all 3rd party repair shops. Luis Rossman has many videos about it. Basically you don't get any schematics, Apple makes it illegal for you to buy replacement parts and they make it more difficult to repair anything.
